Major Competition: IEEE Ottawa Robotics Competition

When? Registration usually happens in February

Who? Teams of 2 to 8 students from grades 4 to 12. 

What? See challenges on website from last year for ideas

Where? Last year (2022 COVID-19) was virtual, but this year that may change

Learn the basics of self driving technology.

Learn basic coding using colours.

Sphero

Experiment to learn how sensors work. 

Measure acceleration and velocities.

Can be used in painted works of art too!

Cue

Have fun with a ready to program robot named Cue.

Create your own dance routines.

Micro:Bit

Learn the basics to coding using Python or Javascript or Blockly to understand circuit boards.

Adafruit

Take your clothing designs to the next level with beautiful stitched in circuits with conductive thread.

 

Arduino PCBs:

Hone your coding circuitry skills with an Arduino printed circuit board.
